Yule love our Christmas waste collections!

 

Sevenoaks District Council’s waste collection teams will be working extra days over the festive period so residents won’t miss a collection, but there will be changes to their usual days.

Most collections over Christmas and New Year will take place a day later than usual except the Christmas day collection on Monday 25 December, which will take place earlier on Saturday 23 December.

The Council’s Cabinet Member for Cleaner and Greener, Cllr Margot McArthur, says: “We’re proud to be one of only a handful of councils to provide weekly waste collections and Christmas should be no different.

“Our teams will be working hard again this year, including on some bank holidays, so no household will miss a collection.

“I would remind residents to put their black and clear sacks and garden waste out at 7am on their collection day.”
